It's that time of the year again! This means that in a few days we will be facing another year, another makeup session with friends, tutorials we are yet to master, makeup brushes that needs revamping and more makeup products we incessantly crave to buy and fit in our already-full makeup kit. Whichever may, a woman can never have too many makeup! Most especially that the Holiday Season is drawing near and you need all your ammos ready for surprise party invitations, house parties, Christmas parties and the many kinds of parties you shall have attended by the dawn of the season.
That said, here's a quick stacking and organizing tip to help you clear the desk and file your makeup stash before hitting the Holiday Season.
1. Revamp Your Customized Magnetic Board
We're pretty sure you've caught the trend on makeup stacking with this magnetic mayhem. If you were able to create one for yourself, kudos to you! If not, well it's not too late yet. Well now that you got that all set-up and prettified, you might want to consider changing the palettes on your magnetic board for this season. Change your palette from sunny bright shades to deep rich colors luminescent to winter and all that jazz so that you'd have a bird's eye view of the colors you wish to mix and match for the season.
2. Defragment Your Makeup Drawer

Who knows, what kind of flesh-eating bacteria are looming and nestling in your old and unorganized makeup drawer already. When was the last time you ever cleaned it? Point taken. Now, if the thought of creepy crawlies seem eerie to you, you better start cleaning today and head over to your disorganized makeup drawer and re-stack them like a cell warden to its inmates, leave no crevice unchecked and no drawer unturned. Make sure that we use not only good products but products that are still up to date and clean to use as well.
3. Who Says Your Medicine Cabinet is Limited to Stacking Toiletries Alone?
You're a woman for crying out loud! We do not take these things lightly. Go ahead and dish out your husband's old shaving cream and unused supplies to make space for your own generous stash of quick makeup remedies that you use on a daily basis. Don't just keep one set in one place, a woman must always come prepared. What if Santa would pop out of your chimney for a quick cup of tea? what will he see you wearing? A sorry face? You couldn't possibly let a photo op like that slip will you? Our thoughts so too.
4. Don't Fall for the Out of Sight Out of Mind Trap
That's primarily why, when organizing and storing makeup, you should be able to see everything that you were planning on stacking. Don't hide your makeup in a sorry dark corner of your room. Not only is it a painful to have makeup appearing and disappearing like magic, but it's also quite confusing to not being able to see everything you need in one glance. That said, remember your grandmother's lazy susan? There's a makeup organizer for that. Also, remember that clear glass-like makeup organizer you saw last week while you visited the mall? Yes, and that too.
That's just about it! Ultimately, the rule of this organization hack is for you to be able to have full control of the makeup brushes to use and the makeup products to wear when it comes to last-minute party invitations and unsuspecting visitors. Through this, not only would you have better choices but you also get to save tons of time because all your makeup needs are just within reach this holiday season.
